Perlego raises $50M to push ambition of being "Spotify of textbooks

<p>After seeing Spotify boom through COVID-19, a firm named Perlego, which has been applying the concept to academic textbooks has raised $50M to expand its business. The London startup presently has 400,000 paying users who have unlimited access to 850,000 items, including textbooks, novels, and other literature assigned to students as coursework at universities. Perlego claims that its catalog makes it the world&#39;s largest online textbook subscription service.</p>
